Today I came in and continued calling for Wendy's study. I saw in the call log that Sara finished up the 4.5 year old portion of the call log. I entered the remaining 25 children at the 3.5 year old age into the call log. After I finished that, I started making calls. One of the calls I talked to the father and he didn't feel his son qualified for the study after I explained it. He said his son is having speak delay problems and receiving therapy for it. I was thinking as he explained this to me that his son would be fine for this study. The study focuses on delay gratification rather than speech. I was going to let him know that if it was okay with him, I would ask Wendy whom is running the study if Thomas his son would still qualify. But without a moment of delay he also included they were too busy because they just had a baby. He still wants to do future studies. Would speech delay be considered a reason his son couldn't do the study?
