Today I work on calling for the BMI study. I first returned the phone calls from the VM we received over the weekend and all those kids were screened out. I continued calling for 4 year old males and was unsuccessful in reaching very many parents but was able to leave a handful of voicemails. Today I also went through the binder and got rid of any sticky notes with personal information from participants that were screened out or we are unable to reach. It is important to keep everyone's information confidential and make sure that anything written down gets shredded. After seeing the email about the open xcel file on the computer screen a couple weeks ago I also made sure that I closed any windows opened on my computer if I needed to leave the room during calling.
