The Korea Herald reported police is having additional search for possible crimes of the South Korean man, Kang-Ho-Soon, who confessed killing seven women during two-year period.
"we plan to go through the similar unsolved cases that were committed during the period to verify his involvement," said a police officer.
Kang said he approached the victims for sexual desire, to rape them, and murder them afterward. The BBC reported Kang used stockings to strangle women.
Park Hak-geun, police chief of Suwon said the death of Kang's first wife triggered desperate Kang to murder a women.

Phelps apolozies for smoking marijuana-pipe

The CNN reported Olympic gold medalist star Michael Phelps appologized sunday for photograph of him smoking marijuana-pipe.
"I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment," 23-year-old U.S. athelete said. "For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public -- it will not happen again." (BBC)
The only publisher of the picture, UK newspaper the News of the World said, the picture was taken at a party at the University of South Carolina.
As a record breaker, Phelps has won 16 Olympic medals, 14 are golds.
Since Phelps is a well-known U.S. swimming star, several criticism has been spurred at him. The US Olympic Committee said Phelps behavior is dissapointing as a role model, the CNN reported.

On Sunday, Iceland government announced their first female Prime Minister, Johanna Sigurdardottir, the world's first openly gay leader, the CNN reported.
Iceland has been struggling with the financial crisis such as collapse of its bank and currency. The tumult led former Prime Minister Geir Haarde to resign. Appointed by the country's president, Sigurdardottir will continue her prime ministership until the next election.
Sigurdardottir worked as flight attendant at the Loftleidir Airlines for 9 years. After that, she worked as union leader and formed her own party.
The BBC reports Sigurdardottir married Jonina Ledsdottir in 2002. She also has two kids from her first marriage.

1 man killed in St. Paul Shooting

The Pioneer Press reported that three men are arrested for robbery attempt and the death of Jeffery Logan, 44, which happened at early saturday, St. Paul.
The shooting happened in the alley behind the Attucks-Brooks American Legion Hall, when he tried to protect his cousin from the trio's battery. Logan died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
"He was a kind-hearted man," his brother, Charles Walker said. "but he wouldn't let anything happen to his own." (Star Tribune)
Three man, who are all under ages of 30 are placed in Ramsey County jail, waiting for formal charges.
