Minneapolismama has left the city

I am on a two week work trip to NYC and Boston. This week I am in NYC for a conference. I am hoping to also see a few things while here but so far it's been mostly conferencing, lots of walking, and some good deli food.

I am knitting up a great pair of socks on my trip. I will try to post pictures soon.

Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this blog loading? I'm trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it's the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

Hi Richard
Welcome back
No, neither have I.
I just happened to go through something the other day, well, one or 3 things really. I didn't realise the impact it could have.
It looks like it could be wonderful for creating back links, I even assumed of Squidoo Ezine blog. Will try it sometime amd see what happens.

You are Awesome hunny! I just saw tonight on the news about a 13 yr old who was bullied due to a regular stereotype and commited suicide :( heartbreaker.... but young ladies like you make the many difference, I'm in the works of skin cancer awareness and that i appreciate how you are telling young girls that they dont need to search like that, "it's fake!" props to you hun, you inspire me and i am twice your age! <3 XOXOXOXO
