13 Killed in a Suicide Attack
The Associated Press reports that two suicide car bombers attacked a police station in a residential area in Baghdad Sunday, killing at least 13 people and wounding 82! The article says that Iraqi police stations are a large target for attacks and the suicide bombers accuse the Iraqi police of betraying Iraq by working closely with the United States.
The International Herald Tribune (http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/04/22/africa/ME-GEN-Iraq-Security.php) reports that Iraq's suicide bombings cannot be stopped by new technology alone; it needs more than that, according to U.S. Army officers.
Army officials say that the only way the situation can be improved is if Iraq's soldiers, leaders, police and civilians come together and reach some sort of an agreement.
