We share in the excitement this week of the reopening of the Faribault Woolen Mill by former CIL Executive Leadership Fellow and Minnesota businessman Paul Mooty in partnership with his cousin Chuck Mooty. This iconic plant dates back 144 years, but has been closed since foreclosing in 2009. It's reopening will have positive economic impacts for the community of Fairbault, Minnesota, creating 31 jobs initially with plans to grow, depending on demand.
Congratulations to Paul and Chuck! We commend your contributions to a vibrant Minnesota economy!
