Google Forms can do magic.
With Google Forms you can collect, distribute, analyze, and share data effortlessly. Send out a link or embed your form directly in an email or web page. The possibilities are endless -- gather feedback, find out what attendees thought about your conference, or get confirmation on who is coming to your department's holiday party. Watch in real-time as Google Forms automatically captures the data you get back in a spreadsheet. You even have the option to collect a respondent's U of M username.

Really liked your article - Simplify Data Collection with Google Forms. I used Google Docs to help arrange a high school reunion and although I didn't use as many of the features as your video describes, I found it to be a very useful, time saving tool.
