Steven Rosenstone, the current dean of the university's College of Liberal Arts, has been named to the position of vice president for scholarly and cultural affairs for the University of Minnesota.
Anatoly Liberman, professor in the Department of German, Scandinavian and Dutch, was born in Leningrad in 1937 in the Stalinist Soviet Union.
