Many workplaces require employees to work at a set time and place, but U of MN research found that practice isn't ideal for health. Sociology professor Phyllis Moen and associate professor Erin Kelly led the study, which surveyed Best Buy employees before and after the company implemented a new training method focused on increasing work flexibility.

Brian Messier thinks changing the way we hear music and experience a concert is one way start to answer the question 'who will be the audience of tomorrow? He gathered a small group of artists to create an evening of music and theater. The result, Electric Conductor: A Musical Murder Mystery debuted at the Ted Mann Concert Hall, with the U's Wind Ensemble performing.
