To conduct critical upgrades to the main data center, the University is planning a general outage of almost all University network-based systems (e.g. email, websites, PeopleSoft, WebVista, Moodle, Active Directory, etc.) that will begin early morning Saturday, October 24th and continue into the day on Sunday. As many of CLA's servers are housed in this data center or are dependent on systems in this data center, our systems will be shut down, as well.Action:
Although it is possible that systems may be available during this planned outage, they can and will be shut down without warning and be unavailable for hours at a time. We expect services to return to service throughout on Sunday. For this reason, we recommend that you not connect to any University or college server until Sunday evening.
