Dear GWSS faculty, students, and staff,
I am delighted to announce the appointment of Angela Brandt as Associate Administrator in the Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. Angela will begin her appointment on Monday, December 19, 2011.
Angela comes to GWSS with nearly ten years of working experience at the University of Minnesota. Most recently, she has worked as Project Specialist with the GroupLens laboratory in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Angela received her B.A. in Counseling Psychology, Sociology and Human Resources from the University of Minnesota, and is working on a M.S. in Human Resource Development and Online Learning in the College of Education and Human Development. She brings a wide range of skills, talents, and experience to the position, and I am excited about having her join us.
I am grateful to the search committee for their assistance in filling this position: Jigna Desai, Bea Dehler (Communication Studies), and Colleen Hennen (American Studies).
