CLA HR has updated the Offer Letter Templates for May/Summer Session 2012 and Z-Term FY 2013. These offer letter templates include a minor revision that emphasizes the appointments being "limited and non-benefits eligible". You can find the updated letters at: http://cla.umn.edu/intranet/hr/OfferLetterTemplates.html. Please discard older template letters. It is important to access letters from the above website to ensure we are communicating offers of employment in a consistent manner.Please contact CLA HR (clahr@umn.edu) with any questions. STAR is a new tool in DMS designed to assist those who have a role in scholarship/fellowship award administration (those who do projections, scholarship entry, general scholarship management). Anyone who works with scholarships/fellowships and is interested in learning about STAR is encouraged to attend training. The UM Foundation has scheduled a couple of STAR training sessions for CLA staff on the following dates:

• Tuesday, March 27, 2012 @ 2-3:30, at 517 McNamara Ctr
• Friday, March 30, 2012 @ 9:30-11, at 517 McNamara Ctr
