Residential: No. Eligibility: Faculty; Applicants for Fellowships may be faculty or staff members of colleges or universities, or of primary or secondary schools, or independent scholars or writers. All applicants must have completed their formal education by the application deadline. While applicants need not have advanced degrees, individuals currently enrolled in a degree-granting program are ineligible to apply. All applicants to the Faculty Research Awards program must hold a full-time tenured, tenure-track, or annual-contract faculty position at Historically Black or Tribal Colleges and Universities or Institutions with High Hispanic Enrollment..
