Residential: No. Eligibility: Unrestricted/Multiple Eligibility; Eligible applicants include doctoral candidates who have completed all academic requirements except their dissertation, university professors and lecturers, and professional researchers who are currently engaged in Korea-related research or courses at universities or research institutes. Applicants with a specific research purpose such as the writing of their dissertations or publication of books are preferred.
  • Award: 1,700,000-2,700,000 Korean won depending on education level
  • Deadline: 7/31/2009
  • Details: Support is provided for scholars who are university professors and instructors, doctoral candidates, professional researchers at research institutes and other qualified professionals who want to conduct field research on relevant subjects in Korea. Duration is from three to twelve months. Fellows receive a monthly stipend and round-trip international airfare.
