Fellowships Program

  • Fund Type: Fellowship. Residential: Yes. Eligibility: Post-doctoral; Applicants will normally have not less than two and not more than eight years of post-doctoral experience. Applicants must demonstrate excellent research outcomes at international level and the capacity to build collaborations across industry and/or research institutions and/or disciplines thus enabling the successful Monash Fellows to apply for externally funded national competitive fellowships.
  • Award: Up to AUD $165,000 (approx. $130,000 U.S.)salary per annum and a research support grant of up to AUD $50,000 (approx. $40,000 U.S.) per annum, for 5 years.
  • Deadline: 7/31/2009
  • Details: The principal aims of the Monash Fellowships Program are to: attract internationally competitive researchers, including outstanding young overseas researchers; provide the best possible research environment in which to undertake research of national and international significance; support and provide access to first-class research infrastructure; and develop and sustain national and international collaborations.
