i don't get the lolCats thing...maybe it has to do with the time difference and all...
...but Haraway used to live down the street from some friends of mine. their house was called
"The People's UNdemocratic SOVIET of Rigg Street" in response to all the various 'collectives' and 'co-ops' and whatnot throughout the santa cruz area.
even said so on a big sheet attached to their front porch.
i'm pretty sure she yelled at us one night for playing "let's get really drunk and be noisy at 2 in the morning"
...but then again...i was pretty drunk and she could have been any random woman wearing, an 'alpha bitch' t-shirt.
