ARTS 1601 002 is an introductory course in the T and I area of the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota, taught by Cheryl Wilgren Clyne. By taking field trips to places like Chambers Hotel, Walker Art Center, Placement Gallery and Weisman Art Museum, students experience informal conversation with curators, directors and artists. Brice Aarrestad, Tiara Carlson, Ian Hanlon, Philip Hart, Sean Kapisak, Robert Lyksett, Meena Mangalvedhekar, Amy Marron, Kurtis Melby, Vang Moua, Christina Norton, Lydia Schlicht, Scott Scoby, Aaron Troe, Erich Welton, Vang Yang and Dehang Zheng are students in the class.
