DVD Studio Pro Tips from Jon

******Steps********
01) Open DVD Studio Pro and choose the "Advanced" configuration, if offered. Otherwise, go to Step 2.

02) Hit the F3 key or click on...
Windows>>Configurations>>Advanced

03) Click on...
DVD Studio Pro>>Preferences

04) Click on the tab title "Encoding" and set the options as such...
Video Standard: NTSC
Aspect Ratio: Standard (4:3) Widescreen (16:9)
Field Order: Auto
Encode Mode: One Pass VBR
Bit Rate 6.8
Max Bit Rate 7.5
Motion Estimation: Best
Encoding Mode: Encode on build
(...then click OK)

05) In the top left window, click on the "Outline" tab.

06) Click on "UNTITLED_DISC"

07) In the bottom-right window, click on the "First Play" drop box and select...
Track and Stories>>Track 1>>[Track]

08) Go back to the "Outline" tab in the top-left and select "Track 1" under the "Tracks" folder.

09) In the bottom-right window, click on the "End Jump" drop box and select...
Track and Stories>>Track 1>>[Track]

08) Go back to the "Outline" tab in the top-left and select "Menu 1" and delete it.

09) Drag the desired movie files into the bottom-right window, under the "Assets" tab.

10) Drag the file to the timeline window. Test if
you desire.

11) Burn the DVD. (top menu..file burn dvd)
