Storyboarding

Adam and Cheryl mentioned "editing while taping," or in other words it'd be a good idea to storyboard beforehand. Below is an example and a blank storyboard for use. I hope this helps anyone still planning their projects.

Storyboards are very helpful!
I often photograph what I will
be filming in a storyboard manner.

When I mentioned editing while
taping I was refering to conserving footage and taping just what you need. You don't want to have 3 hours of footage for a 3 minute film. On the flip side, it is also good to practice shots.
