In your artist statement you mention that you "trip and fall a lot". In "three" the video with the bikes there is falling and in this video "emo" the child falls three times. I noticed some other similarities besides the obvious ones. There are many levels to what is presented to us. Sometimes it takes more than one watch to discover this.

The idea of language and learning really comes across. The mistakes that were made were not edited out, celebrating what I know you talk about a lot, experimentation and the importance of error. Back lighting was unusual. I would like to see this projected.
The thread that runs through the works in this exhibit is more than just your focus on Ella, it seems like a respect and admiration for children in general.
There was a hopeful vibe without being overly sentimental.
