analytical problem

Oil companies have recently been federally mandated to significantly decrease the amount of sulfur contained in certain types of oil. My analytical problem is to research methods of analyzing low quantities of sulfur in oil as well as investigate ways that technology is being optimized for the low level detection. I expect to find ways to accurately measure sulfur concentrations of 15 ppm or less as well as how existing analytical methods have been improved upon to do so.
