Enemies become brothers as they come together share Chistmas and bury their dead. Sun in English, German, French, Italian and Latin with English translations projected above the stage. Running time, including intermission, is about 2 hours, 12 minutes. $20 tickets (for seats valued up to $120) are available for the performances on Saturday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 15. Werther (composed by Jules Massenet)
Overflowing with yearning and heartbreaking melancholy, Massanet's most romantic tragedy is inspired by a true story of unrequited love. The passionate James Valenti returns to star as Werther, the idealistic young poet who cannot live without love. Roxana Constantinescu, who dazzled audiences as Cinderella, returns as the object of his obsession, Charlotte. Sung in French with English translations projected above the stage. Estimated run time, including intermission, is 2 hours. $20 tickets (for seats valued up to $120) are available for the performance on Saturday, January 28.
