Yes, I've actually updated my blog. You aren't dreaming.
I have little to say; my head is typically empty, or maybe it's just full of all the same things it always is. I could talk about the change of seasons -- this is the first truly cold (~49F) day of the Fall season. But I've done that before; I usually end up quoting Eliot--again.
I could talk about recent developments in pop culture that strike me as ridiculous--I've done this before as well. Like, these purses with straps so short that they are indistinguishable from handles, such that when the purse is worn over the shoulder, the bag itself (which is usually big and fat) is stuck up under the wearer's armpit. Usually when I criticize recent fads, I attack them from the perspective of practicality -- but actually, I don't think my usual tactic will be so successful here. While I don't think these purses look all that comfortable, I bet they're much harder to steal, all snug up in your armpit like that.
I could ramble about vague, presumably lofty questions of human nature. How do we achieve our potential? What is our potential? What is the point of having a potential? But I've done that before too.
At any rate, I think this is enough for a blog entry.
