Wheat Harvest is starting
As I enter this blog the combines are starting to roll again. We had a short delay as about 2 - 3 inches of rain fell recently over Northwest Minnesota. The row crops were needing the rain desperately so most producers were happy to see it come. Yields that I am hearing are above normal for both Barley and Wheat. That is great news as much of the grain marketed pre-harvest was much below the market high. Now we are entering our seasonal harvest lows so you guys that decided not to pre-harvest market will have to wait and see what happens. Good Luck! Maybe we'll see a repeat of this past year. but the odds aren't great. Seldom do we see back to back marketing years alike. We'll see!
