was able to repair the cooling system for the network gear ahead of
time and I'm pleased to report that all Evergreen networks should
be "up" again now.
If you're in Evergreen and have connection problems, please reset your computer.

Most of the network at Evergreen is down this morning (September 1, 2011).
Yesterday we found that a cooling unit had failed and the data closet was very hot. To reduce heat load we shut down the wired ports yesterday. This morning I've had to shut down wireless in Evergreen, leaving that building with little or no network.
I'm told Facilities is doing all they can to repair the cooling unit.
We apologize for the inconvenience we know this outage causes and are working to find ways to reduce the impact. However it could be several days without Internet at Evergreen.
