In what ways are the concepts and skills taught so far in the course contributing to your professional effectiveness now and in the future?
I found some application to my business and personal life of the concepts presented in our various readings in most of them. It was easier to draw relations when the text is more concrete. My struggle is to integrate all the little tidbits into my big picture learning. I am looking for the big frame work and then how all these readings and theories fit into it. Maybe there have been just too many and not enough time spent on discussion and relating it back to the leadership and change concept of the class. I am hoping that, once the class is done, and I have had a chance to digest it all it will make me more effective in my ability to lead as well as managing and promoting change. But, I am not there yet. Claudia

I find that I have already been able to make use of many of the concepts and skills we have investigated, and I find that particularly satisfying and rewarding. My experience has been that attending seminars and workshops can be valuable experiences and try to come away with at least one premise I can put to use. It always seems to be the actual getting it up and running that is difficult. The weekly immersion in these concepts keeps them alive and available for me to more readily implement.
With respect to the blog, having had no experience with one prior to this course, I am becoming comfortable with it. We will be setting one up on my unit's web page as a resource for use in implementing the new financial system.
