What aspects of the instructional approach (student presentations, instructor comments, exercises, teamwork, expeditions, etc.) are helping you learn?
All of them. I like the change in pace and presenters as well as the mix of group discussion, lecture, reading etc. I look forward to the play. What I need to help me learn better and apply the readings is more explanation. When we present about the various readings in class, it is such a rushed event and there is usually only time to scratch the surface. For me, a little more time per reading would be helpful. I think it would help me understand better. Claudia

I enjoy the class presentations and the discussions they generate. I would prefer to have more opportunity to discuss the points you present as well. It may just be a function of the time available, but I would welcome more time to discuss the "inter-relatedness" of the writings in any given week. I enjoy the flow from individual through organizational and societal perspectives, I think it helps me relate them in a personal context. The introduction of diverse theories is helpful as well. It isn't as if it were all a jigsaw puzzle and there is a piece for every hole, it's more as though we have a velcro balloon and bits of each attach themselves to one's thinking and behavior.

I find the group discussions on real life examples and experiences that are generated from the readings to be very resourceful. It gives the readings more depth. I can then certify that this is not just something written out of a need to write but real and relevant lessons that have been learned and experienced based on similar inputs from class mates.
Most examples and reflections on the readings helped me understand and appreciate the class. I also agree with Sarah that the diverse theories on issues gave additional insights.
