Sunday Evening

This Sunday evening was pretty eventful, as Sunday night's go. Genny called in sick before I got in, so Brian took her desk shift until I got there. Then, at about four o'clock, the fire alarm went off in the building. Brent and Megann and I locked up the office and made sure people were leaving the periodicals room, and everyone went outside until the fire department showed up. Marge did show up on time but was unable to clock in right at four since we were all still outside, so she shouldn't be counted as late for today. They let us back inside fairly quickly, so I assume it was just somebody pulling the alarm. Also, Brian didn't have his break on the schedule, so he took it at 4:30 when we finished shelving on 4th floor. Lastly, Marge was scheduled to shelve in East Asian today, but they were closed, so she shelved microfilm and other periodicals instead. So, there were a few little bumps today, but everybody did really well with just adjusting and moving on.
