Friday Night

Friday night was fairly calm in the library. However, there was something happening at Carlson today, and I think it is still going on. Patrons coming in have said it's a bomb threat, but I can't confirm that and neither can the security guard. In any case Carlson is shut down and the area around it is blocked off. A facilities worker came in from outside asking if I knew where the freight elevator was, because he had a big thing full of garbage that he couldn't haul past the commotion at Carlson. I told him that I didn't know, and instead I recommended that he call facilities management. But like I said, other than the strange happenings over at Carlson, the night itself was pretty typical as far as patron activity.
