the first hour at the circ desk was fairly busy mostly with computer problems. two patrons came and told me that they had been logged off the computer randomly and weren't able to click log off and therefore were not able to log onto another computer. i told them to wait 5 minutes and try again. also i had a guest asked to be logged on and i couldn't get the guest name and password right and becky helped me out. a third computer problem was a mac computer completely froze before a patron logged off with her mail and work visible on the screen i called IT but they must have been closed. Becky also assisted by unplugging the computer. during all of this there was a constant flow at the desk. it was quite thrilling. moving on.. the rest of the night was quiet and relaxing.
