Monday Evening 1/24

Tonight there were a few more people using the basement level than the previous evening.  I had a few guests ask me to log them in, and answered some questions regarding where to find specific items in the periodical room and upstairs, where to make copies/put cash on their card, and a few other random questions.  One thing that I have noticed is that when I take all the returned items up from the basement exit at the end of the night, it takes forever for them to actually check-in up in the book return room. I usually end up user breaking every single book which is very annoying and time consuming. Is there any way around this?  Otherwise everything went fine as usual.
