(that title is meant to be read in the style of a monster truck rally announcer voice)
Unlike a monster-truck rally, Sunday at the library has been pretty quiet -- no cars were demolished, and vehicles with comically-oversized tires did not run roughshod through the halls of Wilson.
Instead, there were several guest logins, and one particularly lengthy microfilm tutorial for a harried patron.
The one significant event today occurred when a patron came to the first floor circulation desk and explained that a woman had fallen and hit her head on 4th floor, resulting in some bleeding. It didn't sound as though it was terribly serious -- apparently she was moving around and talking, etc. -- but I called 911 to summon paramedics, and filed an incident report. This happened right as my hour at the desk came to a close, so I did not see the paramedics arrive; however, the patron who informed me of the situation offered to wait at the front of the library to guide the paramedics to the woman's location.
