Well, as is typical of all Sundays, the library has been very quiet today.  Hourly gate counts have begun as planned.  There was little in the book return, and as a result very little shelf-reading.  Additionally, Eli and Ben were able to finish pick-up before I finished the book return.

However, some unusual things did occur:

for the second week in a row, the majority of the lights on the fourth floor in the area near James Ford Bell, were off

there was a strange pop-up for one of the returned items this morning; the item is now on Pat's desk

That's all for now.

Ha ha ha,

the power went out and wouldn't you know just as we finished unplugging all of the computers etc that we could access; it came back on.

We plugged almost everything back in (Ben got shocked!), and I left two things unplugged do to possible safety issues:

underneath  computer ULPAWIL-B7-DI in government publications, the outer casing was off of the wires

and the plug in for the microprint reader in the newsroom was loose from the wall

Note:  the pharos in smart did not seem to be working
