Five charged in New Jersey child rape case

Two men and three boys have been charged in the case of a 15-year-old girl who allegedly allowed men to have sex with her and her 7-year-old sister.

The five, ages ranging from 13 to 20, have been charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Trenton Police Director Irving Bradley said.

According to CNN, Gregory Joseph Leary, 20, was arrested Thursday and Tiemear Lewis, 19, was arrested Saturday.

The three others who have been charged are juveniles aged 13, 14, and 17.

Their names are not being released.

The New York Times reported that investigators believe the 7-year-old girl was sold for sex by her 15-year-old sister.

Her sister was also charged with aggravated assault and other charges for allowing her sister to to be sexually assaulted, police said.

Officials said the 15-year-old girl first accepted money for having sex with the men then accepted money for allowing the men to touch her sister which led to rape.

The 7-year-old girl told police she knew the party was trouble but went because she wanted to protect her older sister.
