Bret Michaels in critical condition

Bret Michaels, lead singer of Poison and reality television personality, is in critical condition after a brain hemorrhage Thursday.

His official website had this statement Sunday: "Everyone at Michaels Entertainment would like to thank all fans and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers through this difficult time." Entertainment Weekly reported.

MSNBC reported that Michaels told his fans that he wasn't feeling "100 percent" the day before the hemorrhage.

Michaels' rep said that they are still awaiting tests to determine the source.

Steven Seagal in the middle of harrassment problems

Actor Steven Seagal has been accused of sex trafficking and sexual harassment.

According to the New York Daily News, Kayden Nguyen was the first to come forward.

Now, other women are coming forward.

The Boston Herald reported that his reality show has been stopped in the midst of the scandal.

Women arrested for trying to smuggle corpes on airplane

Two women were arrested at a British airport on charges of trying to smuggle a dead relative onto an airplane bound for Germany.

According to the Montreal Gazette, the 91-year-old man was wheeled through the airport in a wheelchair wearing sunglasses.

OneIndia reported that the two women were apprehended because they did not have a notification of his death.

"At 11 a.m. on Saturday 3 April 2010, police at Liverpool John Lennon airport were alerted to the death of a 91-year-old man in the terminal building," police said in a statement.

The cause of death of the man is unknown.

Man fleeing police jumps fence into prison

A man fleeing police over what was originally a traffic violation abandoned his car and jumped a fence into a women's prison.

According to Yahoo news, the chase evolved from a minor traffic violation to a 90 mph chase through several Cleveland suburbs.

CBS News reported that the driver, Ricky Flowers, allegedly jumped from his vehicle and hopped over the fence leading him to the Ohio state women's prison.

"He ended up in the prison yard," said Capt. Robert Sackett. "He was apprehended. He had nowhere to go. It was a little easier to get in than get out, apparently."

According to police, there were three passengers but Flowers was the only one who ended up in the prison yard.

Flowers initially faced only a traffic charge but now faces a number of other charges including fleeing and eluding and obstructing justice, according to local news station WJW.

Utah police nab theif who stops and asks for directions

Utah police caught a man suspected of stealing two cell phones from a convenience store when he stopped to ask a police officer for directions, police said.

Yahoo News reported that the officer noticed that the man, John White, matched the description of the theft report he had just received.

According to KWTX, White also left a piece of paper at the gas station with an address on it and proceeded to ask the officer for directions to that same address.

White was arrested on suspicion of the theft and had two cell phones and a small amount of marijuana in his possession.

Police say charges are pending.

A Kentucky woman arrested on charges of public intoxication has been slapped with an additional assault charge for squirting a jailer with her breast milk.

According to the New York Daily News, Toni Tramel, 31, was changing into her prison uniform Thursday when she squirted breast milk into the face of a female officer.

Tramel now faces felony charge of third degree assault on a police officer.

Yahoo news reported that her bail is set at $10,000.

Thousands participate in nude photo shoot in Sydney

Around 5,200 people left nothing for the imagination as they gathered on the steps of the Sydney Opera House for a naked photo shoot.

According to ABC News, the photo shoot was for a work of art called The Base by photographer Spencer Tunick.

The work of art is part of Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival.

Tunick is famous for photographing large masses of nude people.

Yahoo news reported that Tunick had participants pose in a number of different positions, ranging from holding their arms up to embracing each other, for an hour.

"I'll never get a chance to do this again; it's not worth being inhibited," 19-year-old Art Rush said. "It doesn't feel sexual, it just feels tribal, a gathering of humanity."

Olympic snowboarder leaves Vancouver after racy pictures surface

Scotty Lago, who won a Bronze medal for the United States, has withdrawn from the Olympic games after inappropriate pictures surfaced on the internet of him and a female fan.

The pictures show a female fan kissing Lago's medal which was placed below the waistband of his pants as well as her biting the medal.

According to CNN, Lago was not entered for any additional Olympic events.

U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association President and CEO Bill Marolt said Lago apologized to the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Snowboard Federation before leaving the competition.

The pictures were posted to gossip website Friday morning.

The Washington Post reported that Lago posted an entry on his Twitter site after arriving home.

"Got home this morning to all my homies," he said. "Such a good Olympic experience. Keeping my medal in a safe spot for now haha."

30 pounds of marijuana found hidden in pictures of Jesus

U.S. Customs agents seized 30 pounds of marijuana hidden inside three framed pictures of Jesus Christ on Wednesday along the U.S.-Mexico border.

According to CNN, a 22-year-old woman from Juarez, Mexico told border patrol that she had nothing to declare other than the framed art.

When Cesar, a federal drug-sniffing dog, was brought to the scene he alerted the border patrol to the three pictures.

When they removed the backing, they uncovered a number of bundles of the drug.

The woman was arrested.

KVUE reported that it is common for drug smugglers to use pictures of religious figures in order to conceal drugs.

El Paso border agents also seized another 214 pounds of marijuana in two other busts on Tuesday.

14-year-old girl fights off shark with boogie board

A 14-year-old girl from New Zealand hit a shark in the head with her boogie board as it was biting her, keeping herself calm and prompting the shark to quickly swim away.

According to Yahoo! News, Lydia Ward was standing in waist-deep water on a beach near the New Zealand city of Invercargill when the shark bit her.

CBS News reported that it was her younger brother's shocked face that alerted her to what was happening.

She instantly grabbed the only thing she had, her boogie board, and started defending herself with it.

It did not take long for the shark to swim away.

She remained extremely calm after the incident and was not immediately aware that she was hurt.

"It wasn't until I got about knee deep that I realized I had a bite mark through the wet suit," she said on CBS' Early Show.

Ward went to the hospital but was not severely injured and says she plans to return to the water soon.
