The Carlson School Supports & Embraces Diversity

On Friday and Saturday, we have some very exciting activities planned for approximately 30 prospective Full-Time MBA candidates from all over the United States. The Carlson MBA Program Office has partnered with Multicultural Affairs & Diversity Education (MADE) to host Carlson MBA Preview: Spotlight on Diversity - an event that is focused on providing prospects the ability to witness first-hand the institution's commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive community that embraces the values of equity and diversity.

A large part of their day on Friday will be spent in teams preparing and presenting at a live case competition, and they will be judged by volunteers from the Carlson MBA program, current students, and representatives from the Washburn Center for Children. For many, this will be their first time participating in a case competition, and we're thrilled at the opportunity to provide them with this unique, in-depth look at what it is like to be an MBA student. More specifically, a Carlson MBA student.

Throughout the weekend, these prospective students will also interact with current MBA students, faculty and alumni, and the thriving Twin Cities community. Although it may be frigid, we are excited to show these candidates that there is more to Minnesota than just our cold winters.

To keep up to date with what's happening at the event, I encourage you to follow us @CarlsonMBA - we will be posting pictures and updates throughout the event.

That's a fascinating activity! I think that this program would be very successful in providing information about the institution's commitment towards equity and diversity. And I'm sure that many prospective Full-Time MBA candidates from all over the United States would be grateful to be part of that activity. And I think they would probably love and be honored to be part of a world-class institution--- which is the Carlson School. Keep it up and more power to your institution.
