Yu Wins Prestigious Smith Breeden Prize

"Technological Growth and Asset Pricing" honored as best paper in The Journal of Finance in 2012

Assistant Professor of Finance Jianfeng Yu has been awarded the prestigious Smith Breeden Prize for the best paper in the The Journal of Finance in 2012. The publication's associate editors recognized Yu and coauthors Nicolae Garleanu (UC Berkeley) and Stavros Panageas (University of Chicago) for their paper "Technological Growth and Asset Pricing."

The Smith Breeden Prizes are awarded annually to the top three papers in The Journal of Finance in any area other than corporate finance. Yu and his coauthors will receive $10,000 for earning first prize.
