Gov. Dayton to Speak at March 'First Tuesday'

Minnesota Governor to keynote event at at the McNamara Alumni Center on March 5

Governor Mark Dayton will address friends and alumni of the Carlson School of Management at the next "1st Tuesday Speaker Series" on March 5 at 11:30 a.m. in the University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center.

Dayton, Minnesota's 40th Governor, has spent most of the past 34 years in public service. Prior to being elected governor in 2010, Dayton served as Commissioner of the Minnesota Departments of Economic Development and of Energy and Economic Development, as State Auditor, and as United States Senator. Dayton currently is on the Executive Committee of the National Governor's Association.

Dayton graduated cum laude from Yale University, where he also played Division I hockey.

Tickets, which include lunch, are available online for $28.
