I check it every day and encounter much good information
and analysis that I can get nowhere else."

Smart Politics will be blogging live from the Humphrey Institute on Thursday, April 12th, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Congressman Tim Walz's (MN-01) speech on educating students about U.S. foreign policy. The talk, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance, is entitled "Tomorrow's Foreign Policy: What We're Teaching Today's Students and Why It Matters."
Last November, as projected here at Smart Politics, Walz unseated six-term Republican incumbent Gil Gutknecht in Minnesota's 1st Congressional District. Walz, a 24 year veteran of the Army National Guard, campaigned heavily on foreign policy issues in Election 2006.
Be sure to check back to Smart Politics tomorrow morning to catch our live analysis of Representative Walz's speech.
