Tomorrow a coalition of academics, business leaders, and environmental advocates will gather to discuss Minnesota’s potential for being a national leader in renewable energy. From solar panels to wind turbines to biofuels Minnesota has considerable potential.
With the passage of the stimulus package congress is considering perusing caps on carbon emissions and then investing in renewable energy solutions. Our center recently released a report that detailed options for Cap and Trade options in Minnesota. All of this could help benefit Minnesota by helping the state develop jobs and industries that will support a clean energy economy.
