Fredrikson & Byron Hosts Mock Investor Pitch Event

Earlier today, Fredrikson & Byron, co-lead sponsor of the Life Science and Health IT division, hosted a panel and mock investor pitch event for the Life Science and Health IT semi-finalists. The event began with a panel presentation from investor and Fredrikson attorney Warren Mack and venture capitalist Paul Waldon of Carefree Capital. Mack and Waldon shared tips on how to approach investors and what to avoid when asking for funding. They also shared insights on the current climate for medical device companies trying to raise money and issues they've personally encountered when trying to raise funds.

Following the panel presentation, Life Science and Health IT semi-finalists presented to three different teams of industry experts and investors. The companies had 20 minutes to pitch their idea to each review team. The presentations were followed by 10 minutes of questions and feedback from the panel of reviewers. The event resulted in 24 presentations and rounds of feedback for the Life Science and Health IT semi-finalists!

Thank you Fredrikson & Byron for hosting an event that provides value and a unique experience for our Life Science and Health IT semi-finalists!
