Spotlight on 2013 Minnesota Cup Division Winners

With the latest announcement from 2013 High Tech Division Winner thisCLICKS on raising $4m, we thought it would be fun to share the recent successes of other 2013 Minnesota Cup division winners.

Energy/Clean Tech Division Winner: Garden Fresh Farms
Dave Roeser and Peter Kordell of Garden Fresh Farms have received tremendous recognition for their approach to urban agriculture including their award winning performance at this year's regional and national Cleantech Open. Garden Fresh won the regional and national Sustainability Award.


General Division Winner: Kidblog
With over 4 million K-12 student users, Kidblog rolled out its first monetization mechanism with the introduction of a premium version of their classroom blogging platform.


High Tech Division Winner: WhenIWork
In addition to thisCLICKS raising $4m, they also launched a new product, WageBase.

These impressive announcements allow us to share some exciting news of our own. Minnesota Cup finalists from 2009-2013 have raised nearly $70 million in capital to support the development of their ideas!

The 2014 Minnesota Cup will launch on March 24. To celebrate our 10th competition, we're adding new divisions, programming and more prize money! The new Food/Ag/Beverage Division is led by General Mill's 301 Inc. and our new International Division is led by LifeScience Alley.
