Incidental standard of care services now available in CTSI clinical research units

Through an agreement with University of Minnesota Physicians (UMP), incidental standard of care (clinical, non-research) services are now available at the Delaware and Masonic Clinical Research Units. Physicians who schedule research visits in a CTSI clinical research unit may now order non-research clinical services as needed at the time of the research visit, provided by and billable through UMP.

Examples of available standard of care services include:
- Blood draws
- Inoculations
- iDXA scans
- Prescription changes
- Physical exam
- Infusions or injections unrelated to the research protocol

Other services are available and may be provided depending on staff expertise. Visit the CTSI website for more information about how to request standard of care procedures during a research visit.
