TRC Flight Crew

This snowy owl was a former patient in TRC's clinic. Before release, it underwent a vigorous reconditioning program that consisted of repeated flights on a creance (line).

Volunteers on our flight crew help with the physical conditioning of recovering raptors, exercising the birds and assessing their abilities as they regain their flight skills. TRC's flight crews provide opportunities for raptor patients to rebuild weakened flight muscles as one of the final steps in the rehabilitation process.
