Rise and Shine

I woke up at 5 a.m. to work at the Frozen five K and half marathon in downtown St. Paul, a traditional volunteer event I participate in each year. Having consumed just 2 hours of sleep, because I work at a bar on the weekends, I wasn't the happiest camper. Needless to say once I got there I grabbed a cup of joe and woke up to the faces of eager runners ready to go! Throughout the day as the racers crossed the finish-line, my tiredness seemed to disappear, taking in the excitment and sense of great accomplishment and fulfillment lingering in the air from runners finishing the race.

Rise and Shine AGAIN

Admitting that I was fairly exhausted I took in a few hours of Z's to refresh myself and prepare for a busy night at work. Waking up I consumed about 30 minutes of juice from my treadmill, 5 minutes worth of cold water, then off two work where I consumed a night filled with LOUD music, orders from customers, and a whole lot of liquid soaked into my clothing, but completely worth it, I love my job.

cost: loss of brain cells!

Oh yeah I almost forgot, GAS
