Minnesota Artist wins 2011 Duck Stamp Prize

Plymouth Artist Joseph Hautman was declared winner of the 2011 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest.

This is the fourth time that Hautman has won the award. His acrylic painting of a wood duck will be the face of a 2012-2013 stamp and go on sale in June of 2012, according to the Town Talk.

Hautman's entry beat out 189 others in a two-day competition that produced 32 finalists.

Hautman's brother, Bob, one the contest in 1996 and 2000.
