The day you posted that handsome picture is my birthday. I turned 63 that day. I recieved an e-mail today from a Brian Gogerty in Cleveland,Ohio.
His father's name is John Gogerty and they were originally from Maryland. His e-mail address is

Interested in any help regarding Gogerty Family ancestors. Name in Ireland was spelled GOGARTY. My Ancestor immigrated to usa in 1868, his father was born in 1818, mother in 1822. Appears our Gogerty's were from County Louth, Dundalk, Ireland

Hello Brian and Roseanne! Thanks for visiting. My ancestor's left Ireland long before 1868. They emigrated to France and fought with Napoleon. They then came to the US in the early 19th century.
