Hi! My name is Josh Delzer, and I'm a freshman at the University of Minnesota. I decided to come to the U of M because I wanted a change from what I'm used to. I'm from Dodge Center, a small town in southeastern Minnesota, and I was raised on the farm. I've always wanted to live in the big city, and I finally am! I'll admit, it was scary at first, but I'm getting used to it.
I'm currently taking several interesting classes at the U. I'm taking a political science class, pre-calculus, microeconomics, an information technology internet course, and a freshman seminar about chess. I probably shouldn't be biased, but I think chess class is my favorite so far. I've always liked chess and the class also teaches critical thinking skills which will come in handy in many other classes.
