Stephen Streng and Dewey Thorbeck (both Center for Rural Design) have been awarded a Minnesota Futures Symposium Grant by the Office of the Vice President for Research for the first International Symposium on Rural Design to be held January 15-16, 2010 on the Saint Paul campus. Streng was also awarded a travel grant from the University's Office of International Partnerships to support the attendance of Canadian scholars at the symposium.
