The Center for Sustainable Building Research (CSBR), along with others, is working with Aeon, an affordable housing nonprofit, to renovate and fully restore an historic Elliot Park duplex according to Gregory J. Scott writing for Downtown Journal. The duplex, recently moved from 722 to 730 East 17th Street in Minneapolis, will house recovering drug addicts. CSBR is helping make the renovation as sustainable as possible and the project will carry a LEED-for-homes mid-rise pilot certification.
